Senior Accountant

Job Role: Senior Accountant

• Location: Dammam, KSA

Essential Functions

• Execute day-to-day accounting transactions, including journal entries and reconciliation.

• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in the general ledger.

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, supporting schedules, and reports.

• Collaborate with the Senior Accounting Supervisor in financial analysis and performance evaluation.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support general ledger activities and assist in month-end and year-end closings.

• Participate in account reconciliation and validation of financial data.

• Assist in ensuring compliance with Zakat regulations and contribute to the preparation of Zakat filings.

• Assist in internal audits to identify areas for improvement in financial controls.

• Manage and control accounts payable activities, office expenses, and customer discounts in line with approved budgets and company policies.

• Coordinate with banks, governmental bodies, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications, Education & Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum Experience & Skills Required

• Minimum 4–5 years of progressive accounting experience.

• Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP is highly preferred.

• Proficient in accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
